Fact of the day: Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have split, sources confirm to News.

The former couple had been dating for more than a year.

According to People magazine, there was no specific incident that prompted the break-up.

"There was no drama," a source told the magazine. "Things just don't work out sometimes."

Swift, 26, and Harris, 32, celebrated their one-year anniversary with a beach vacation in March. One month later, she opened up about her relationship to Vogue.

“I’m just taking things as they come,” she said. “I’m in a magical relationship right now. And of course I want it to be ours, and low-key ... this is the one thing that’s been mine about my personal life.”

It's been a tough few weeks for Harris, whose real name is Adam Wiles. Late last month, he was in car accident after which he was briefly hospitalized for minor injuries.
